Now Version 1.0.8 can be installed on Firefox 8.0.1 under Windows 7 64 bit and it works very fine on flickr. Thank you for the fast repair. I love the tool! Bye Thomas

Hello, great tool! Sorry an addition. Version 1.0.8 won’t install under Firefox 8 on Windows 7 64bit (not compatible), under Windows XP 32bit it works! Problem on my side? Or could you fix it? Under Firefox 8 Windows 7 64bit the Version 1.0.7 install, but stopped working on flickr. Bye Thomas

Hi, love the extension too, but yes, it doesn’t seem to be working any longer, over the last couple days.

I see a 1.0.8 version available, but it doesn’t seem to be compatible with firefox 8.0.

any chance of an update?

Hi Jason, due to new version numbering for firefox (current 8.x) I can’t install version 1.0.8. So I have increased the value in “Install.rdf” manually before installing: em:maxVersion=”99.0.*”. This should be enough for the next years If there some limitations for using flickr webservices like a quota per user or calls by using same key? Best regards, Fraggle

Hi – love the extension, but it’s not working any longer. I’m running Firefox 8.0 on Mac, running the latest version of the Lion OS. It’s possible that Flickr has added new magic powers for its users, so maybe they’re the problem.

Either way, when I right click on a picture, I get a message at the top of FF with a warning triangle, with the text “[Javascript application] Sorry, Flick Original could not view/download this photo.”

Could you do a fix? I realize this is freeware, so if you’re otherwise busy I’d understand.

Downloading and show the original size image from Flickr via the plug ‘Flickr Original’ in the latest version – v1.0.7 is now impossible, because apparently a few days from now Flickr has introduced an additional safeguard against the plug.
