@Scale: Yes, I noticed this issue yesterday. For now, you can visit http://www.flickr.com/photobetaoptoutto disable the new view. I’ll be looking for a workaround for this in the meantime.

I had last checked Flickr several days ago, today I checked it again and it seems it has undergone a major update. Now when viewing an image page the cursor is changed to a magnifier as soon as it is over the image, which prevents from clicking the “orig” button. The button shows up but I couldn’t verify if it works by selecting it with the Tab key either, because the pages seem to have some buggy Javascript which hangs my version of Firefox (3.6.3) forcing to stop the script. Is this an issue of my browser or the extension doesn’t work yet with the new Flickr version?
Thanks and please keep this fantastic plugin going, it’s one of my favourite and saves tons of time.

@jma: Sorry, I directly call the Flickr API client-side and link to the photo download directly, so I can’t do any dynamic renaming.

I’d love to be use your extension for collecting Creative Commons photos on Flickr. The trouble is, most CC photos require attribution. Could your extension be modified to save the photo with a filename that captures the creator’s username and the unique ID of the photo?

For example, the photo at this URL:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/chickenlump/3158474460/

would be saved as chickenlump_3158474460.jpg

Great plugin, but the last few versions have the annoying message that you have to click ‘ok’ on, really a pain after a while, can this be made optional please ?
